SPECIAL NOTICE:
We would like to take the opportunity to wish Mike Shedd a happy upcoming retirement. Mike has spent more than thirty-three years serving the village, working diligently to make the village better every day. Mike has been integral in the more than ten million dollars of grant investment that we have secured in the last fourteen years, critical to updating our village infrastructure. All of us on the village board thank Mike for his hard work and dedication and wish him well in his next chapter. Mike will be greatly missed!
With that said we would like to announce that after working our way through the application process Ken Mead has been selected as the next Superintendent of Public Works. Ken has served the Village for more than 19 years as a critical member of our Mohawk Municipal Commission and has always served with the best interest of the village in mind. With an intimate knowledge of the electrical and water systems, we look forward to his carrying of this knowledge into his new role.
We would also like to announce that Police Officer Bradley Morse has been promoted to Chief of Police effective immediately. With over 16 years in the Mohawk Police Department, working hard to keep our streets and citizens safe. We are excited about the quick and seamless transition Chief Morse will make and look forward to him continuing to serve the Village.
